I’ve been thinking a great deal about fostering sustainability communication via diffusion theory ala Malcolm Gladwell. Essentially diffusion theory maintains that conversation + media creates changes in our appropriation of experience. So I figure if I can’t always be around to chat with people about the environment – or you can’t find someone handy to talk to about some ideas you might have about going green. Why not talk to a chat bot? EcoBot should learn from the talking and make more environmentally interesting conversation as it grows in experience.
